Heal Heart

This ceramic piece combines two distinct castings. A cut portion of a stack of hearts is placed into a high heel. Both of these objects symbolize different aspects of femininity and desire. The high heel, a powerful symbol of femininity and self-expression, holds the hearts, which represent the desire for love and connection. Through the act of casting and altering these forms, I explore the intersection of strength and vulnerability. This serves as part of my ongoing series that delves into the complexities of identity and emotional longing.
